Troubleshooting Steps for a Faulty Smart Lock

Instructions for factory resetting your slim series smart lock

  • Remove the battery cover on the indoor panel of the lock

  • Push to one side the white connector cable

  • Depress the reset button between the batteries with a pen or similar object for two seconds (see photo for button location)

    • The lock will announce  either "Please add administrator" in which case proceed to adding the lock to the app

      OR

    • It will announce "Please enter initialisation passcode" - In that case, please key in 0 0 0 followed by # (Hash) into the keypad, then proceed to adding the lock to the app

  • Next open app and select Add Lock the All Locks

  • Next lightly touch the key pad to liven up the bluetooth

  • This lock should no longer be greyed out but should be shown in black text

  • Select it and use the Add (+) button

  • When the lock has been added try to unlock it by tapping one on the blue padlock icon

  • The lock should now unlock
