Leverline Lock Installation Dimensions (Drilling Guide)

Before installing your Leverline lock, it’s important to use the correct measurements.

This will ensure the lock fits properly and avoids damage to the door.

Drilling Hole Size

The required hole diameter is:

● 54 mm

This is the main hole through the door for installing the lock.

Door Thickness Compatibility

The Leverline lock is suitable for doors with a thickness of:

● 35 mm to 50 mm

If your door is outside this range, the lock may not fit correctly.

Spindle Size

The lock uses a:

● 7 mm square spindle

✔ The spindle is included in the box

✔ No additional parts are required

Tubular Mortice (Latch) Details

Included tubular mortice backset:

● 60–70 mm (adjustable)

This means the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the hole can be set within this range.

Important Compatibility Note

The most important factor for compatibility is the existing mortice (latch) in your door.

● Before purchasing or installing:

Please remove your current mortice (latch) from the door

Take a clear photo of it

Send it to us so we can confirm compatibility

This helps avoid ordering the wrong lock.

Cover Plate (Future Upgrade Option)

If you upgrade later to a Slim Series lock:

The CSA cover plate (62 mm wide)

Will fully cover the 54 mm hole

This allows for future upgrades without needing to replace the door.
