By default, even when passage mode is enabled, the lock can still be forced locked by holding the # key.
This guide shows you how to set the lock into a long-term passage mode, where:
The lock stays permanently unlocked
The # force lock function is disabled
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the app
Set Passage Mode = ON
Unlock the lock once
This activates passage mode
Confirm the lock is fully unlocked
Remove the batteries from the lock
What Happens After
The lock remains in permanent passage mode
The door stays unlocked at all times
The # key will no longer force lock the door
Important Notes
This is a manual override method
The lock will stay in this state until batteries are reinserted
Once batteries are reinserted, normal operation resumes
Still Not Working?
If the lock can still be locked:
Make sure passage mode was turned ON before removing batteries
Confirm the lock was unlocked before battery removal
Repeat the process carefully
