Longer Screws and Spindle Selection Guide

This article helps you select the correct longer screws and spindle kit based on:

• Your product model

• Your door thickness (in millimetres)

• The correct compatible pack

Following this guide ensures the product installs correctly and avoids ordering the wrong parts. If your door thickness is outside the ranges listed, or you are unsure at any step, contact Support before ordering.

Step 1: Identify Your Product Model

Use the product name shown on the website or your order confirmation.

Model compatibility rules

  • SF and SFS
    Same installation and sizing rules. Only the finish (Black / Silver) differs.

  • EF and DFF
    Same installation and sizing rules. Packs are interchangeable.

Step 2: Measure Your Door Thickness

  1. Measure the full thickness of the door in millimetres (mm)

  2. Measure straight across the door slab

  3. Include the full door thickness

Note

Tool type does not matter.

Step 3: Select the Correct Pack

-SF / SFS Models

Doors 75–80mm thick

Pack: Longer Screws and Spindle – 80mm

  • Suitable for doors: 75–80mm

  • Actual spindle length: 100mm

  • Screws included: 80mm and 90mm

  • Stubs included: 2 × 35mm

Doors 95–100mm thick

Pack: Longer Screws and Spindle – 100mm

  • Suitable for doors: 95–100mm

  • Actual spindle length: 120mm

  • Screws included: 90mm and 70mm

  • Stubs included: 2 × 50mm

-EF / DFF Models

Doors 75–80mm thick

Pack: EF/DFF Longer Screws and Spindle (75–80)

  • Suitable for doors: 75–80mm

  • Actual spindle lengths: 77mm and 87mm

  • Screws included: 2 × 60mm

  • Stubs included: 2 × 40mm

Doors 95–100mm thick

  • Pack: EF/DFF Longer Screws and Spindle (95–100)

  • Suitable for doors: 95–100mm

  • Actual spindle lengths: 97mm and 107mm

  • Screws included: 100mm and 80mm

  • Stubs included: 2 × 40mm

Step 4: Using the Correct Screws

  • Packs may include two screw lengths

  • Use the screw that best matches your door thickness

Step 5: Stubs (Important)

Stubs are short connector pieces used to ensure the spindle and handle align correctly through thicker doors.

  • Your door thickness is outside listed ranges

  • You are unsure of your model

  • You are unsure which pack applies
